Treasurer’s Report:   
Reserves       $  44,297.71
Checking       $    8,970.15
Savings         $  10,370.80
CD’s               $  36,761.75

Old Business – from May 2024
  • Township building inspection: The Fire Marshall will be here on Friday, June 21st at 9:00 am for our annual walk through of our building.
  • Laundry rooms: Laundry rooms lock by 9:00 PM.
  • Plumbing: We continue to wait for a date for our main shutoff valves to be replaced. Notices will be distributed when a date is confirmed.
  • Pool: Our pool opened successfully on Saturday, May 25th of Memorial Day weekend.
New Business – June 2024
  • Pool: Steve Papp said the pool is doing great.  “Pool Squa” volunteers are managing the pool well.  “It is yours to enjoy.”
  • Ballot results for smoking: The results of the vote to add a By-Law making Heather House units non-smoking are as follows:  23 yes votes, 36 no votes.  By-Laws state that an affirmative vote of 75% was needed to pursue an amendment change.
  • Fresh Foam: Fresh Foam will do their annual cleaning of the trash chute, dumpsters and the floor in the trash room on Friday, August 2nd.  Notices will be distributed.
  • Board membership: We welcome any resident that would like to join our board. Please put your name in the condo box in the lobby.
  • Drains: Cleaning of the kitchen drains on the first floor will be on Friday, July 13th. Reminder notices will be posted in the building.
  • Rules and Regulations: Exhibit “C” 5 …no articles shall be placed in the halls or on the staircase landing nor should anything be hung from the windows or balconies or placed upon the exterior windowsills.
  • A fond farewell to Sue Dalzel, Unit 17, who moved this month.
  • Tom Turnbull, a long-time resident, passed away last week. Tom’s daughter Amber and her husband, Juan, were introduced to the residents.
  • Issues discussed:
    • Residents discussed the importance of breaking down all cardboard boxes. Also, having a meet and greet with new residents was discussed.
  • Next condo meeting:  We do not have condo meetings in July or August. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:00 PM.
