New Business – September 2024
-
- Pool Closing: Friday, September 13th was the last day to enjoy the pool. It is closed for bathing but, until the furniture is stored away, residents can lounge in the pool area. Our pool company will be testing the pool for possible water leaks.
- Reminder: Ryan Sheppard, Haddon Township Fire Marshall, notified Heather House that all hallways, corridors and stairways may not be obstructed. Once again, as previously mentioned, please remove doormats and all objects outside your entryway.
- Board Elections: There will be two open positions: a three-year term and a one-year term. Follow the directions on the application forms on the buffet in the lobby. Reorganization of positions will be done in January, 2025.
- Update on forced entry: This past Monday and Tuesday, a Frontline Defense full door latch & gap protection was installed on all four entrances doors to Heather House to deter and prevent unauthorized entry. A new handle is on the storage room door. The door will lock when it closes. No new keys are necessary. Our residents were in receipt of two memos regarding the break in. This matter is in the hands of the Haddon Township Police Department.
- New residents: Please welcome David and Agnes, Unit 29, Jason and Sandy, Unit 37 and Lynn, Unit 47.
- Comments:
- There was a group discussion about the recent break in.
- A resident mentioned an incident when her and other parking spaces were blocked by a van doing work in a recently sold unit. The realtor was called and apologized.
- A resident questioned why Amazon delivered packages to her door. It was suggested that when a resident orders from Amazon, there is a special-order line to direct the location of your package, on the fireplace in the lobby.
- A resident asked if others in the building smelled unpleasant odors in their unit. No one else did.
- Next condo meeting: Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 16th at 7:00 PM.
Move to adjourn at 7:23 by Delores Cipolone and Charlie Schaefer
