Old Business – from January 2022
- Roof: On January 13th DDS, our roofing company, repaired the damage to the eves on the Rite Aid point of our building. The damage was a result of Hurricane IDA.
- Holiday decorations: Lobby decorations have been removed. As mentioned in the Welcome packet, seasonal decorations should be removed when the holiday is over.
- Snow Removal: Remember: if snow is predicted, do not park in the visitors spots next to pool.
- Electric: Urbano Electric was here on Friday, January 21st. They have done maintenance on the attic fans on both ends of the building.
- Valentine treats were supplied by Bart and Denise Healy on February 14th.
New Business
- Trash Room: As mentioned in the Odds and Ends, please do not put large, heavy bags down the chute. Nothing larger than 13-gallon bags. Also, as noted in the Welcome packet, only household garbage should go down the chute, nothing else. Out of consideration and concern for your neighbors, as the sign says on the trash room door, no trash disposal before 8 A.M. and after 10 P.M.
- PSE&G: PSE&G will be replacing the individual meter boxes in the basement. This will occur over a two-year period after which the meters will be able to be read from the outside.
- Fire Safety: A fire safety program by Ed Kalesse, the Haddon Township Fire Chief and EMT personnel, is scheduled to be part of our March 16th condo meeting. Notices will be distributed to encourage Heather House residents to attend this presentation.
- Denise and Bart Healy will be distributing a selection of sweets on St. Patrick’s Day. The sweets will be delivered about 2:00 on Thursday the 17th. Forms will be in the March Odds & Ends.
- Comments/Issues:
- Resident questioned why her exhaust fan doesn’t work. Some residents mentioned their fans work and others said they don’t. Cleaning of the exhaust fans inside your unit should be done, but it is a resident’s responsibility.
- Janet MacCarthy in Unit 60, 609-617-7744, is having Habitat for Humanity remove items from her unit. Janet offered to be the contact person if you also have items that you wish to have removed.
- Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 16th at 7:00 PM.
Move to adjourn was made by Ed Kalesse and Sherry Becker at 7:35.
