HHCA Board Meeting Minutes January 23, 2020
7:01pm Call to order: Dolores K, Janet S, Denise H, Rosemarie C, Lucy M.
TREASURER’s REPORT: Total $109,698.50
OLD BUSINESS
- Mailboxes – we have bids and Denise will be coordinating a meeting with the Post Office, Mailbox company and contractor. Install to be done in the 1st quarter of 2020.
- State Inspection – Re-Inspection scheduled for Friday January 24, 2020 beginning at 10am. notices have been delivered to the units that require re-inspection
- Ed Kalesse will be returning to work January 27 Welcome back, Ed!
- Pool Update – Thank you to those who have paid your guest fees
- NEW BUSINESS
- Plumbing; Friday January 24 , ALL drains, kitchen and sewer lines will be cleaned. Do Not use your kitchen sink during this time
- Unit 55; Since December 27, 2017 the tax lien has been held by a corporation, they have been paying the taxes and utilities. Within the next few months, the foreclosure procedure will begin. NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO PARK IN THEIR SPOT.
- Tree Stump; Sal has been contacted to grind the tree stump on Kraft near Rite-Aid
- Front Door; PLEASE do NOT leave it open. PERIOD.
- February meeting; THURSDAY, February 20, 2020 at 7pm
- Valentine’s Day Party; Friday, February 14 from 4 – 6pm
- The Fire Marshal was here and saw that the Laundry Room doors were propped open. The 2nd floor door is swollen and does not completely close. That will be repaired. LAUNDRY ROOM DOORS
NEED TO BE CLOSED AT ALL TIMES! - Door knobs will be replaced on all the doors in the stairway at front
entrance location - Cement out front failed the State Inspection and was damaged by
Waste Management. It was recently replaced. Denise stated that we
will NOT pay for this – Waste Management will be fully responsible for
the bill for that work. - Baseboard heat is noisy due to air in the lines. Denise will call Hutchinson to have them bleed the lines
- Gloria and Marsha have volunteered to come up with re-decorating ideas for the lobby. Bart and Denise will be purchasing and donating two new lobby chairs.
- Washing machines have been breaking down all too frequently. For those of us affected by this, please take the time to leave a note indicating that it is out-of-service, when service was called, and the code that was displayed etc. Paper wil be left in the laundry room for that reason
- Web Page is up and running, going through some testing techniques to check the emailing function. We will need everyone’s email addresses
- Meeting Minutes were mysteriously taken down last month.
Beginning this month the meeting minutes will be posted in the locked windowed box in the lobby near the corkboard - Steve donated a Christmas Tree to HHCA. This past season Janet M. had used it. It will be stored in the basement for HHCA to use in the lobby in this upcoming holiday season. Thank you Steve
