HHCA General Condo Meeting – March 2022

March 16, 2022

Call to Order at 7:00 P.M.

Roll Call:  Lucy MacDonald, Steve Papp, Janet Sassano and Denise Healy.  Absent: Dennis Bush.

Treasurer’s Report:

Reserves       $  31,564.06
Checking        $ 27,324.50
Savings          $ 40,942.90
CD’s                $ 35,815.52
Total             $135,646.98 

Old Business – from February 2022
  • Trash Room: Please continue to follow the times posted on the trash room door when discarding trash or recyclables. Also, heavy oversized bags should not be thrown down the chute.
  • Drains: Kitchen drain cleaning was completed on Friday, March 11th.  The next scheduled cleaning will be in June.  All residents will receive a notice a few days prior to the date.
  • Fire Safety: The fire safety program by Ed Kalesse, the Haddon Township Fire Chief and EMT personnel, was postponed.  Information on the rescheduling will be in the April Odds and Ends memo.
  • PSE&G: PSE&G will be replacing the building’s meter boxes over the next two years.
  • Patrick’s Day treats: were delivered on Thursday, the 17th at 2:00 P.M. Thanks to Denise and Bart Healy for providing them, Janet Sassano for packaging them and Charlie Schaefer, Lucy Macdonald for delivering them.
New Business
  • Condo Fee: As mentioned in the March Odds and Ends, bill payment can be arranged with your bank. Your payment is made out to Heather House and mailed to 201 W. Cuthbert Boulevard, Unit 63, Haddon Township, NJ 08107.  The funds are not withdrawn from your bank account until after the first of the month.
  • Sale of units: Recently, a unit was sold, quickly, after being on the market.  Since the units are privately owned, the Board, does not usually know when a unit is going to be sold.
  • Comments/Issues:
    • There was a discussion regarding unit sales.
    • Question about roof: Our loan should be paid off by July 2023.  Residents, who are currently paying monthly plus interest, will be notified on an individual basis of their last payment date.
  • Our next meeting will be moved to the second Wednesday, April 13th at 7:00 PM.
