Old Business
- Painting: The 3rd floor has been painted.
- Parking Lot: On May 4, the asphalt was rolled on designated areas of our parking lot. Painting of lines, unit numbers and curbs was done. Touch ups are in progress. Thanks to Steve Papp for your time and attention to this project.
New Business
- Inspections: Laundry room vents have been cleaned. The Haddon Township Fire Marshall will do their inspection in June. Special thank you to Lucy Macdonald who has coordinated all the many and various inspections for our building in 2021.
- Rugs: 3rd Floor will be installed on Monday, May 24 and May 25.
- Mailbox: Mailboxes have been delivered. UPDATE: There was no need to stop mail. Mail from the old boxes was moved to the new boxes by the Post Office. New mailbox keys were distributed to all residents. Thank you to Denise Healy for handling this project.
- Pool: Our pool will open on Saturday, May 29, of Memorial Day weekend. Each resident will receive a pool packet by Wednesday May 26. Non-residents are charged $5 a day, $50 for a summer pass. Thank you to Steve and Stella Papp and Tammy Fitzpatrick for their work in getting the pool ready for our Heather House residents.
- Last General Meeting: June 17, at 7:00pm will be our last meeting until September. There are no meetings in July and August.
- Any Comments/Issues:
- A note was received in the suggestion box, which was difficult to read and was unsigned.
- A resident needed and received the services of our building exterminator.
- The Board is aware of a missing “s” from the word House, on the Rite Aid side of our building. The replacement cost will be in our 2022 budget.
- A suggestion was made regarding our bulletin board. Would it be possible to have an area where residents could put up a notice to sell or give away furniture? This issue will be discussed further when the present magazine rack and outgoing mailbox is removed. Magazines and outgoing mail can be placed in our new mailboxes.
- Move to adjourn by Denise Healy and Gloria Fitzgerald at 7:40pm.
Though the CDC recommends some relaxing of COVID-19 safety measures, we are following current state guidelines. Therefore, we are requiring our residents, visitors and vendors to continue to wear masks in all common areas.
