HEATHER HOUSE CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION
HHCA General Condo Meeting – May 17, 2023

Roll call: Steve Papp, Denise Healy, Janet Sassano, Gloria Fitzgerald was absent

Approval of April Minutes:  Helena Volansky and Steve Papp.

Treasurer’s Report:            
Reserves       $  26,322.59
Checking       $  21,498.37
Savings         $  20,689.70
CD’s              $  35,955.35
Total              $104,466.01

Recent expenses included the new compactor, updated fuse box in the trash room, repair of units, (2), damaged by leaks.

Old Business – from April 2023
  • Pool:The pool was emptied, acid washed, fitted with a new drain cover and refilled by Aqua Master and Spa. Steve Papp, (908-421-3503), explained the importance of a dedicated pool committee.  Please contact Steve to join the committee.
  • Concrete repair:Concrete repair work will be done, over the next few months, on an as needed basis.
  • Tree trimming: As per an inspection by our tree arborist, branch trimming and tree shaping are scheduled for May/June.
  • Annual Inspections: Today, May 17, the fire extinguishers were inspected.  This was the last one before the Haddon Township’s annual building inspection by the Fire Marshall on June 15th.
  • New Building Keys: Entry door locks were changed on Monday, May 15.  New keys, two per unit/owner, were distributed the weekend of May 13/14.  Extra keys can be purchased for $2.00 each, from the Board.  Contact Denise Healy, 856-854-5118 or Janet Sassano, 856-858-0955.
New Business
  • Laundry Room: Caldwell and Gregory have scheduled delivery of their new washers and dryers for June.  Estimated installation time is three days.  This includes (1) removal of current machines, (2) cleaning/maintenance of laundry rooms without the machines and, (3)
    installation/explanation of the new machines.  When the date is confirmed, residents will be notified.
  • Comments:
    • There was general conversation regarding the pool committee.  Steve explained the tasks for the pool committee. Mainly, it is necessary to test the water, with test strips, every two hours.   The more volunteers, the better,for sharing this daily requirement.  Several residents, present at the meeting, agreed to be on the pool committee. Again, please contact Steve, to be on the pool committee, to help make it a successful summer at the pool.
  • Thank you: Thank you Janet Sassano and Gloria Fitzgerald for organizing and distributing the keys.
  • June meeting: Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 14th at 7:00 PM.
