Old Business – from October 2021
  • Budget: Our Treasurer, Denise Healy, said that the 2022 budget is done.  A copy of the budget will be distributed to each owner.  Denise mentioned that there were $44,000 worth of Capital Expenditures in 2021 including, 3rd floor rugs and paint, lobby/mailroom floor, new mailboxes and makeover of the mailroom lobby, new asphalt at front of building and line painting and numbers.
New Business
  • Kitchen Drains: Drains were cleaned on Friday, November 12th.  Reminder:  do not throw any type of wipe down the drain or toilets.  Plumber reported finding wipes during the cleaning process.
  • Contact numbers: As mentioned last month, Heather House uses the following companies for plumbing and heating issues. These numbers are for your convenience if you want to use either company for personal problems within your own condo.
    • Plumbing – M.R. Neel Plumbing, 856-506-3400
    • Heating – Hutchinson (residential), 888-777-4501
  • Dryer: On Saturday, November 13th, the fire alarm went off twice and the HT fire promptly responded.  There was an issue with lint in the dryer, which has been resolved. Thank you for your patience.  Ed Kalesse’s input was appreciated.
  • Resident Issue: Recently there has been concerns with a resident living within the building.  We are in contact with the family. Concerns from the residents, at the meeting, were discussed.
  • Trash Removal: We will be exploring other trash recycling companies since the cost for our trash removal has doubled over the last 6 years.
  • Visitor parking: A car using a visitor parking space facing Cuthbert Boulevard was recently moved to a different location.
  • Hurricane Ida insurance claim: The insurance adjuster for the damage done by the Ida wind shear was here on Monday, November 8th.  We are awaiting the results of his report to our Insurance carrier.
  • Comments/Issues:
    • Comment: A resident expressed dissatisfied with using Hutchinson within his unit.
    • Comment: Resident asked about the drainage at the corner of the building outside of Unit 3.  Our landscaper has it on his radar and he will be addressing the issue.
  • Our next meeting is Wednesday, December 15th at 7:00 PM when the 2022 budget will be voted on for approval.
  • Bart and Denise Healy will determine how their Xmas party will be done this year.
