Recycling

Recycling bins are in each trash room on each floor. Please note the following:

Materials that CAN be recycled are: 

• Paper – includes paperclips, staples, envelopes

• Cardboard boxes of any size except pizza boxes– Boxes should be broken down, flattened, and taped together if necessary.  

• Aluminum

• Glass beverage containers

• To keep down odors and prevent pests, please rinse your recyclables of food residue.

• Newspapers and smaller flattened cardboard boxes, such as cereal boxes, etc., should be placed in the newspaper dolly. If you use plastic bags to collect your newspapers, please remove the newspapers from the bag.

• Take care, and stack the dolly neatly to prevent the entire stack from tipping over onto the floor.

Materials that MAY NOT be recycled:

• Plastics with number 6 or 9 or with no number is trash.

• Pizza boxes must be torn small enough to easily fit down trash chute.

• Plastic Bags – Recycle these at the grocery store

• Styrofoam and most packing materials are trash, and may not be recycled.

• Plastic Lids

• Household glass or dishes

Efficient waste removal not only benefits our quality of life, but also your bottom line. Condo fees can be kept stable with proper waste management.
