Old Business – from June 2022

  • Fire Marshall Inspection: We passed our yearly inspection by the Fire Marshall on June 17th.
  • Fire Extinguishers Inspection: On May 18th, the building’s fire extinguishers were inspected and passed.
  • Seneca – Insurance: Seneca, our new insurer, for our home owners and umbrella policies required new hoses for our washing machines and a new electrical box in the basement.  After the required installation, we passed the inspection.
  • Dumpster: The dumpster chute, dumpsters and the floor in the trash room were cleaned by Fresh Foam in June.
  • Contact Information: Please return your contact information form, if you have not completed it yet.  Put it in the condo/suggestion box. Thank you.

New Business

  • Drain cleaning: The quarterly kitchen drain cleaning was done on Friday, September 17th.  The next quarterly cleaning will be in December.
  • Pool Closing: The pool is closed for the season.  The furniture will be stored away by the end of next week.  Until then, residents can sit in the lounging area.
  • Tree Removal:  A tree on Kraft Avenue was dying over the last few years and has been cut down.  The tree trunk has been removed.
  • Landscaping: Four bushes have been planted on the Rite Aid side of the building. A drainage system was placed in the corner, outside of Unit 3, to alleviate the water issue there.  Stones now cover that area.
  • Rug Cleaning: The rugs on all three floors will be cleaned this fall. Notification will be given, when we have the date.
  • Election: There will be one open position starting, for a three-year term. The term would begin in January.
  • Windows: The side windows were cleaned today.

Comments/Issues

    • A resident questioned the feasibility of having different options for the front door.
    • A resident brought up parking. Park in your assigned space.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00 PM.

Move to adjourn by Dennis Bush and seconded by Denise Healy at 7:25.
